Winter Weather Meeting and Windstorms

Im sitting here watching Hurricane coverage on Hurricane Katrina and its pretty interesting watching these guys reporting in wide open area's in the Hurricane. And it reminded me of the 1995 Windstorm that struck Western Oregon with gusts to 70-80 mph and sustaind winds around 60 mph. I remember looking outside and the rain on the ground was being blown everywhere like a Hurricane and was pretty dramatic. I want to see another one, hopefully this winter. Well, the annual Winter Weather Meeting is November 4rth at 10 AM. I will be there to take notes and post them on this site. Oh and there is rain in the forecast!!
